Day 2-Big Bear! (spring break style)

Day 2 was all about snowboarding. 

We got up , had breakfast and headed over to the rental place.

The mountain was fantastic. Super snow! ha.

Cory's fishing trip didn't work out so Cory decided to join us.

So, it was pretty crazy. I fell pretty much every 2 feet. (owww my butt)

Dors was so helpful, i feel realllly bad at how horrible I was!

It was really fun though..and i did make it down half of the run without falling! :)

Halfway down Cory and Mark ran into each other and Cory cut his knee.

Moral of the story? Don't wear jeans while snowboarding.

So we took a break.

Mark and Dors went on a bigger run. (you can see Dors in this picture ha)

It started snowing! YAY! (Cory wasn't too happy about it though)

It was cold, but absolutely fantastic! :)

When we got back, we got into the hot tub....while it was snowing!

The guys had a man contest to see who could take the cold the longest.

In the end, Mark and Cory were holding out the longest, but Cory's toes were turning purple, so they tied.

Tommy and I went on a walk while it was snowing.

After all that, had dinner (fantastic steak that Eric made) and then played games, and had some fun.

Day 1-Big Bear! (spring break style)

I have to say that this spring break was fantastic.

The guys and I (Dorsey, Cory, Tommy, Eric and Mark) headed up to big bear on Tuesday Morning.

We got up at 6:30 thinking we would leave soon after...wronggggg! ha. We left at about 10:30.

It didn't take TOO long to get up there

When we got there, we stopped at Sonic. (and the guys freaked out because they LOVE sonic)

Cory's car got a bit "toasty" on the way up, so we stopped...and they of course had to go pee in the bushes.

When we got to the cabin, they all decided that they should shovel the walk way. ha. 

I was soooooo excited about the snow. Dors tried snowboarding (or more like sliding?) next to the cabin.

ha, and also decided to stand in it with no shoes. :p

 We had some lunch (macaroni and cheese AND hot dogs)

(Tommy tried to microwave the hot dogs IN the plastic package...oops)

After that, the guys all fell asleep and Dorsey and I went for a walk.

We ended up walking for a few hours to the village. It was reallly beautiful out there!

After we got back we got into the hot tub, which was reallllllly nice!

It was a great day! 

At the end, Dors and I went outside and you could see the stars! 

I had never seen the big dipper (or the little one for that matter)

It was fantastic! :)
